Looking at the Sea Through a Window

I wrote up some of the historical context and artistic inspiration behind my collaborative exhibition with Crystal W. M. Chan I'm really pleased to share that it's been published in the new issue of Shima, a really interesting journal on island studies. Special thanks to Editor Philip Hayward, my colleague Tim Simpson and everyone else who shared their feedback on earlier drafts. The concept of the island continues to be a very helpful tool for thinking the ecological and desire for finding a home.
