Partial Sea View 140 x 100 cm Year: 2019 Oil on Canvas This painting exhibitied as part of "The Shape of Feelings" exhibition at the 8th edition of the Script Road Macao Literary Festival. Each participating artist was asked to pair their work with one of the featured poets of the festival. In this case, I choose Walt Whitman's "The Untold Want" from his Leaves of Grass. "The untold want by life and land ne'ver granted, Now voyager sail thou forth to seek and find."
