I am pleased to announce that I’m an official member of the Blender Certification Board. This board is tasked with the duty of reviewing applicants seeking certification from the Blender Institute. The certification is not for Blender users but is specifically meant as a means to encourage and authenticate individuals who are actively teaching Blender. I wanted to put up a post on here about the upcoming TOSMI trainings. These trainings are designed to introduced media professionals in the European Union to the benefits and possibilities of open source software. The trainings are organized in association with the media arts organization Interspace and funded by the EU’s Media Program. The trainings themselves will take place this spring and summer in Thessaloniki, Greece and Sofia, Bulgaria. More information can be found at tosmi.org
