On 08/12/06, as part of the “Art for the Last Time” series of workshops and presentations at Dondukov 56 in Sofia, I presented the project “Virtual Renovations: the case of Dondukov 56″. The idea of the project was to collaboratively reimagine a future for this location, currently part of the local Art University. Unfortunately, it is slated to be demolished as part of a new shopping center complex planned for the location. Through a combination of 3d and photography we worked to produce a series of alternative designs. They are not so much genuine proposals for a future architecture but more so an effort to invite a reimagining of the potential of this location.
Edno
I’ve got a photo in the new issue of the bulgarian magazine “edno”. Its an image from local designer Irina Florin’s recent fashion show. Edno basically is taking Florin to task for copying an Italian designer.
